Electronic Music Lab (EML)

Objectives:
To compose, create, record, perform and promote Electronic Music in Singapore and Asia

Organization:
Music Group under the management of NUS Centre for the Arts (CFA)
Principal Tutor: Benjamin Ang
Current President: Calista Gabriel Lee

Location:
National University of Singapore(NUS) Centre for the Arts(CFA) Studios

Facilities:

  • Digital Audio Workstation equipped studio at NUS CFA Studios
  • Ableton Live
  • Native Instruments VSTs
  • M-Audio and Novation controllers
  • Korg KAOSS Pad
  • Roland JD-800



    • Members: Students and Alumni of NUS, and non-NUS Members

    Activities:

  • Lessons on campus on Saturday mornings
  • Performances on campus and off campus (Esplanade, Zouk, Phuture)
  • Performances outside Singapore (Indonesia, Hong Kong)
  • Recording sessions on campus
  • Creating soundtracks for film, video, theatre, trailers, dance, advertising
